EMC AUTOMATION ANNOUNCES COLOR VIDEO
CAMERA FOR EMC TESTING
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS, December 15, 1999 – EMC Automation
announces the VC-04 Color Video Camera, a high performance CCD
specifically designed from remote monitoring of equipment under test in an
anechoic chamber or shielded room. The VC-04 camera system includes the
SI-300/CC, a dedicated camera control interface that permits remote
control for the camera's pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris control. The
VC-04 features six preset positions for zoom and focus, automatic and
manual iris control, and camera ID character generation. Options are
available for audio monitoring, and computer control via the GPIB
(IEEE-488) bus.
"The VC-04 is specifically designed
for the harsh environments associated with EMC testing," says Joe
Sivaswamy, President of EMC Automation. "The VC-04's EMI hardened
protective case, noise-free fiber optic links, and remote control make it
ideal for wide angle anechoic chamber monitoring, shielded access control,
and test action archiving."
The VC-04 features a high resolution
1/3" CCD, 5.4 – 64.8mm focal length, 12:1 optical zoom, and 24:1
digital zoom. The camera is available in NTSC and PAL versions. A
camera-only option is available for applications not requiring pan/tilt or
remote control.
