EMC AUTOMATION ANNOUNCES NEXT GENERATION SYSTEM CONTROLLER
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS, December 13, 1999 – EMC Automation
announces the SI-300 System Interface, a multi-purpose system
controller designed specifically for manual or remote computer control of
EMC test systems. The SI-300 provides a user-friendly method for
controlling up to four devices, including field sensors, turntables,
antenna masts and x-y positioners, probe positioners, RF switch modules,
and the EMC Automation line of color video cameras. The SI-300 features
GPIB control for front panel functions, noise-free fiber optic links, a
bright 240 x 64 backlit LCD, and easy to operate ergonomic controls.
"The SI-300 can simultaneously
perform several tasks involved in a typical test, permitting us to design
a single test system for several different test requirements," says
Joe Sivaswamy, President of EMC Automation. "Also, the SI-300's
user-programmable architecture allows it to be configured in a wide range
of modes, providing the flexibility to meet the demands of dynamic testing
requirements."
Designed in-house by our product
design engineers, the SI-300 incorporates the latest technology to provide
customers with an ultra-reliable, easy-to-use interface to EMI/EMS test
system instruments. The SI-300 supports both manual and automated test
systems, and can be tailored to specific needs with optional built-in
video receiver, audio receiver, 1 to 4 video distribution card, and RF
switches.
