TDK selected to install state-of-the-art
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test system for India's National Automotive Testing and R&D
Infrastructure (NATRiP) Project
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS, April 8, 2010 – TDK RF
Solutions Inc. has been selected to supply the turnkey EMC measurement
systems, composed of instrumentation and control software, for the
government of India’s prestigious National Automotive Testing and R&D
Infrastructure Project (NATRiP) in Chennai and Manesar, India.
"This will be one of the most sophisticated
automotive EMC projects implemented by TDK RF Solutions," said Mr.
Ganesh Kudva, the project’s chief architect and Technical Director of
Systems for TDK RF Solutions. "The selection process was characterized
by a rigorous global search to identify a partner capable of providing
the scope and breadth of automotive EMC testing that NATRiP will require
now and in the future. We are honored to be selected and for being
recognized as the leader in this industry."
In fact, TDK RF Solutions is no stranger to
the spotlight having already pioneered a successful systems business in
India, including most recently the completion of a similar test system
for NATRiP’s NCAT facility in Ahmednagar, India in 2008.

competencies in the automotive sector in India with the goal to
facilitate the seamless integration of the Indian automotive industry

In order to satisfy both global and Indian
clients, NATRiP’s facilities must be prepared to handle all types of
testing. With this in mind, TDK RF Solutions will provide NATRiP with
two complete state-of-the-art automotive EMC test systems. Each system
will be capable of whole vehicle and vehicle component certification and
testing to comply with the applicable automotive EMC standards and
specifications. The test systems will be located at NATRiP’s centers in
India: GARC Center in Chennai and ICAT Center in Manesar.
