EMC AUTOMATION ANNOUNCES EMC TEST INTERFACE
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS, December 17, 1999 – EMC Automation
announces the ETI-350 EMC Test Interface, a multi-purpose
microprocessor-based instrument designed to function as the central
control unit for EMC tests. The ETI-350's resident Windows-based Pentium
II system performs power monitoring, field monitoring, RF switching, and
computer control. Combined with a signal generator and an amplifier, the
ETI-350 provides a complete EMS testing solution. In addition, the ETI-350
can function as a controller to handle complex EMI measurements when
connected to a receiver and associated accessories.
"The ETI-350 is a powerful
software-based instrument complete with hardware support, making it an
ideal candidate for EMC test applications," says Joe Sivaswamy,
President of EMC Automation. "Because the ETI-350 is GPIB-drivable and
able to drive instruments, and because the instruments in the ETI-350 can
be accessed independently for manual tests, it meets a wide variety of
testing requirements."
The ETI-350 has networking capabilities
and features noise-free fiber optic cabling, a bright 600 x 800 color TFT
display, and easy to operate ergonomic controls. The built in probe covers
the frequency range of 10 kHz to 1 GHz and is expandable to 18 GHz.
